Below are just a few suggestions of where to eat. These are for information only.

The Old Plough, Tel 01788 890000
Turn left at entrance gate through the church yard and up the High Street, 4 mins walk and you're in one of the bars or the skittle room. ‘Armchair skittle’ only played in 20 mile radius of here. difficult to describe, so you will have to find out for yourselves. There are two bar areas, bear garden and patio. This is an exceptionally good all year round Public House, excellent home made food and good beers. Best to book at weekends. We will more than likely see you there!!!

The Admiral Nelson Tel, 01788 890075
Ok, admit when its raining it is best to drive to this one.  But in fine weather its a fabulous walk of about 20 minutes. The Nelson's lockside setting is superb, good food and ales! You can practice skittle here also. But in daylight most people just watch the boats. Gets really busy on warm days so be prepared to wait and suggest booking.  Great location to enjoy wonderful food and hospitality take a look here for up to date menus and what's on:  www.theadmiralnelson.co.uk

The Mill House, Tel 01788 890450
Turn left at entrance gate, down the footpath through the paddock, only 4 minutes and you're on the canal side patio, good place to watch the boats on a summers evening.

The Wheatsheaf, Tel 01788 890748
Turn right at entrance up to the end of Church Road, turn right and you are there just off the Village Green is the Wheatsheaf, good beers and often live music at weekends. Seven minutes walk only. Chinese takeaway in pub, so try real ale why you wait!!!
